Registration

To get registered, new graduate students must first take an English test, then attend orientation, finally get registered.

English Test: the test is pretty much the same as TOEFL. Usually Chinese students can pass it. If failed, students will have to take an English class. Whether it will affect TA's position depends on different department. Please contact your department for more detailed information.

Orientation: Orientation is required for each new student. You should have received the relative information in the admission envelope. Please take the date into consideration when decide departure date. Call International Admission Office at (1)940-565-2442 for further information.

Registration: Registration is divided into different periods. New graduate students usually take Regular Registration. First, talk with advisor in your department about which classes to choose. Then get the Department Code, Course Code, Section Number, and Restriction Code if required from the secretary of your department. Then take either phone registration or on-line registration.
